This module focuses on basic information essential to understanding fundamental concepts of human nutritional needs.   It emphasizes food as the source of nutrients and the relationship of diet to health throughout the life cycle of the Caribbean people.


The module is divided into the following units:

Unit 2:      Nutritional Requirements and Resources

Unit 3:      Nutritional Requirements of Special Groups

Unit 4:      Nutritional Status of the Community

Unit 5:      Nutrition in Community Health Care.
