This course relates to the need for specialised literacy to maximise the benefits of information and communications technologies for development.

This module provides the opportunity for participants to reflect on, value, articulate and document in a portfolio, learning gained through life long experiences that are equivalent to learning required in university level courses of study. The participants will translate the learning gained through life long experiences into measurable learning outcomes, provide evidence of learning to substantiate formal request for university course credit through the Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) process. Additionally, participants will be required to formulate educational, career and personal goals based on their self-appraisal.
